Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has returned to Zimbabwe for fresh talks with President Robert Mugabe on a stalled power-sharing deal.

It is the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader's first time in the country for more than two months.

The rivals will discuss a four-month-old unity government agreement, which has never been implemented amid ongoing disputes over how to divide ministries.

It comes as Zimbabwe's cholera epidemic death toll rose to 2,225.
